About me
Hello, my name is Martin, I am a certified driving instructor with 40 years driving experience and specialized in guiding people with driving anxiety or fear of failure. With my personal approach I like to help people to feel more confident behind the wheel.
At Rijschool Ride Away we have the reliable Hyundai Tucson as a driving school car, specially designed to offer you a comfortable driving experience. In addition, the driving school car is equipped with the latest safety systems that help you relax and take to the road with confidence.
The driving lesson
Our driving lessons last 90 minutes, where you will receive full attention without distraction from other students. You will be picked up and dropped off, and will learn at your own pace how to control a vehicle in various traffic situations, from simple to complex, so that you can eventually drive independently with confidence.
What is driving anxiety and fear of failure?
Driving anxiety can be a major obstacle for people who want to participate in traffic. For example, it can arise after a traumatic experience in traffic, where the fear of ending up in a similar situation again dominates.
People who suffer from fear of failure set high standards for themselves, have little self-confidence and a negative self-image. They worry a lot and are afraid of not meeting their high expectations. It is important to realize that it is okay to make mistakes and that this is part of the learning process.
Refresher course
I offer a refresher course especially for elderly people or those who have not driven for a long time and have therefore lost their self-confidence on the road. I will guide you step by step, so that you can participate in modern traffic again without any problems
